Cunard will be celebrating the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla with a variety of events on its three ships, Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mary 2, and Queen Victoria. The festivities will include street parties in the Grand Lobby, themed musical performances, films, and quizzes. There will also be a coronation dinner menu inspired by King Charles’ love of farming, agriculture, game, and organic principles. Specially designed cocktails will also be available to toast the King and Queen Consort.

From street parties in the majestic Grand Lobby to themed musical performances, films, and quizzes, guests on board Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth will be able to truly immerse themselves in the regal festivities.

Cunard will be serving a special coronation dinner menu on May 6, 2023, inspired by King Charles’ love of farming, agriculture, game, and organic principles. The menu will feature a selection of specially curated dishes showcasing some of his favorite ingredients, as well as specially designed cocktails to toast the King and Queen Consort. All three Cunard ships will be at sea for the coronation and will broadcast the ceremony live from Westminster Abbey.

A brand-new Coronation Celebration voyage was announced earlier this week, with Queen Mary 2 sailing roundtrip from Southampton on May 2 to Cunard’s spiritual home port of Liverpool.

Cunard’s world-renowned Insights program across the fleet will feature royal commentator Dickie Arbiter, historian Caroline Aston and etiquette expert Grant Harrold.

Cunard will be hosting deck walks on each of its ships on Monday, May 8, 2023, to raise money for The Prince’s Trust, a youth charity that helps young people who have faced disadvantages and adversity to build a better future for themselves. The deck walks will be part of The Big Help Out, a national volunteering event that takes place on the first Monday in May each year. Cunard has been a proud partner of The Prince’s Trust for the past 15 years, and to date, thanks to the generosity of guests, crew, and friends, the cruise line has raised over $3.37 million for the charity.
