Cruise Line Adds Actual Roller Coaster Top Deck Attraction
This is not April Fools Day. This is actually happening.
Carnival Cruise Line’s upcoming Mardi Gras™ will feature the first-ever roller coaster at sea when it debuts in 2020.
BOLT™: Ultimate Sea Coaster™ is nearly 800 feet of twists, turns and drops at nearly 40 miles per hour (34 knots if you do the math)

“Our initial plan is to try and make the roller coaster complimentary for our guests. Any fee would only be implemented to help manage demand” a Carnival spokesperson explained.
Ok so this is a serious roller-coaster.
I just wonder what will happen when the roller coaster is going faster than the ship in open seas. I’m thinking a brief warp in the space-time continuum might occur, a disturbance in the force if you will. Talk about an opportunity to #ChooseFun. I want to see Shaq do this.
