Entering service this year and designed to accommodate just 12 guests in ultimate comfort, the new Crystal Luxury Air fleet will compliment itineraries for guests traveling on all things Crystal, offering the option to fly privately on their Crystal vacation.

Crystal Luxury Air fleet to the rescue, perhaps hitting those ports of call without the time spent sailing between them.

It’s really quite a clever idea if you think about it.  For those to whom the cost of travel is secondary to the experience, Crystal is offering ability to truly customize vacation experiences.  Forget the inconvenience of commercial aircraft, on Crystal Luxury Air, you set the time schedule and the plane absolutely will wait for you.   Crystal cruise, yacht, river and/or residence travelers might enjoy an air experience on the same level as all other elements of their Crystal-sourced travel plans.

Gone will be the days of ‘keep our fingers crossed that all goes well flying to the port of embarkation.  Once there, we know the cruise line will take good care of us’, an eventual win for travelers , often associated with cruise travel in general. Crystal Luxury Air travelers will enjoy their travel every step of the way.

Crystal’s Global Express jet has been extensively refitted with three spacious cabins, which will accommodate business activities, relaxation and sleeping quarters.  Some features

• The forward cabin boasts four executive wide club seats with foldout tables for dining or meeting;
• The mid cabin is configured for conferences, with seating for five and workstation and cabinet;
• The aft cabin offers a three-person divan that can be transformed to a large bed.
• A nicely appointed galley is located forward, featuring a cold air chiller, high temp oven, microwave and Aerolux Nespresso machine.
• Technical amenities include a wide range of electronic video supplies, and laptop imagery on all cabin monitors, XM Radio, surround sound, a 31.5” LCD TV, high speed internet and in-flight phone service.

Chartered flights aboard Crystal’s Global Express jet are now available for booking and will fly guests virtually anywhere in the world, with a max flight range at just under 12 hours per leg. Don’t particularly care for small executive jets?  Crystal will also add a Boeing 777 to its growing fleet in 2017 and 787 Dreamliner in 2018.

Back down on the ground, I’d just like to visit some place without an internet connection.  1972 would work.
