CSM2014, The SXSW Of Cruise Travel Starts Today
Considered by many as the SXSW of cruise travel, Cruise Shipping Miami is an annual mega-convention that starts Monday in Miami Beach, Florida. Amid Spring breakers swarming the beaches of south Florida, on hand will be cruise line executives and travel experts participating in panel discussions, workshops and more during the four-day event at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
This year, those who make things happen in the world of cruise travel have a lot to talk about. So much that event organizers have expanded the keynote State Of The Global Cruise Industry discussion to include expanding markets. Separate discussions will include Asia & Australasia, Europe and more. Addressing current, trending topics Cruise Shipping Miami will explore Ships and Ship Operations, Family Cruising, Newbuilding Outlook and Onboard Entertainment among other topics.
Cruise Shipping Miami has been the leading international exhibition and conference serving the cruise industry, marking 2014 as its 30th year. Bringing together buyers and suppliers for a week of networking, sourcing, and education, Cruise Shipping Miami will draw more than 1,800 cruise line owners and operators from 66 companies.
Also on hand, travel agents from around the world, brushing up on their skills and gaining new insight on what the cruise business has in store for travelers in 2014 and beyond.
