Florida Ranks #3 On Places To Dine Out
A new study has found that Colorado, Hawaii, Florida, Nevada, and Arizona are the states that enjoy dining out the most. The study analyzed data from Google Keyword Planner to see how many times people in each state search for dining-related terms. Colorado came out on top, with an average monthly search volume of 74,795 per 100,000 residents. Hawaii was second, with 72,127 average monthly searches per 100,000 residents. Florida was third, with 71,903 average monthly searches per 100,000 residents. Nevada was fourth, with 70,101 average monthly searches per 100,000 residents. And Arizona was fifth, with 67,194 average monthly searches per 100,000 residents.
The study also found that the most popular chains in these states are Starbucks, McDonald’s, and Taco Bell. In Colorado, the average meal in a restaurant can cost between $18 and $72.50, while a meal in McDonald’s costs an average of $10. In Hawaii, going to a restaurant can cost between $20 and $80 on average, and an average meal at McDonald’s costs around $12. In Florida, those living in Tallahassee can spend between $14.75 and $60 on an average restaurant meal, while people opting for an average McDonald’s meal pay $9.25. In Nevada, an average meal at a restaurant can cost between $35 and $75, whereas a McDonald’s meal costs around $13.50 on average. And in Arizona, Phoenix has similar prices to the national average, with restaurant meals costing $20 to $70 and the average McDonald’s meal costing $10.
