Holland America’s New Mascot: Lewie the Lion
Pretty soon, Holland America Line will have a brand new mascot onboard their ships.
In honor of King’s Day in the Netherlands, Holland America Line is introducing the newest addition to the family, Lewie the Lion. King’s Day is a Dutch national holiday celebrating King Willem-Alexander’s birthday on April 27th. Recognizing lions have been a national symbol of strength and courage to the people of the Netherlands for generations, Lewie takes great pride in his lineage.
Lewie loves traveling by sea, and he will make his debut in gift shops across our fleet of ships in late summer 2023.
More information about Lewie and King’s Day can be found on the Holland America Line blog.
