Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic and FOOD & WINE are teaming up for a new series of gastronomic expeditions. The first expedition, the Columbia and Snake Rivers Journey Presented by FOOD & WINE, will take guests on an eight-day journey along the Columbia and Snake Rivers in the Pacific Northwest.

Along the way, guests will explore the region’s rich history, harvests, and landscapes, while also indulging their senses with culinary splendors and world-class wines of the region.

The itinerary includes stops at some of the most iconic winemaking regions in the Pacific Northwest, such as the Columbia Gorge, Walla Walla, and others. Guests will also have the opportunity to visit farms, orchards, and other food producers to learn about the region’s agricultural bounty. In addition to the culinary experiences, guests will also enjoy a variety of other activities, such as hiking, biking, kayaking, and wildlife viewing.

The inaugural expedition sets sail from Portland, Oregon, on March 31, 2024, aboard National Geographic Sea Bird. Isle will be sailing as a special guest, and more unique programming will be announced at a later date.
