Mardi Gras Coming To The Space Coast
Carnival Cruise LIne will make Florida’s Space Coast home in July as the World’s Most Popular Cruise Line introduces new Natural Gas-powered Mardi Gras to the world.
Cyrus Marfatia, Carnival’s vice president of culinary and dining.
Mardi Gras will feature the widest variety of culinary outlets in the fleet; more than two dozen different venues. Of particular interest is new Chibang!, a new two-in-one dining concept featuring both Chinese and Mexican dishes.
Here is what we know now:
- Chibang! is part of an expanded list of dining options created just for Mardi Gras
- Chibang! as well as popular options Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse Brewhouse and Cucina del Capitano will be included in the price
- Menu items include everything from Singapore Chili Shrimp, Slow-Braised Pork Belly, and Kung Pao Chicken to Carnitas Tacos, Pollo en Mole and Pescado Frito and other South of the Border favorites
- Chibang! is fashioned after the Mandarin word for wing
- Features two distinctly separate menus, allowing guests to craft their perfect meals.
- Beverages include a Margarita made with blood orange syrup, the Smokey Mezcal Negroni that’s a twist on the Italian classic and a Green Tea Martini made with Shochu.
Chibang!, Cucina del Capitano and Smokehouse Brewhouse will also offer complimentary breakfast and lunch menus, as well.
The first North American cruise ship powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), Mardi Gras is set to debut from Port Canaveral, Fla., July 31, 2021, operating week-long itineraries from the Space Coast.
