Experts at the real estate agency Elxis – At Home in Greece have analyzed house prices by the property square foot across the country to determine where in Greece you can get your money’s worth.
Ranking in first place, Serres has the most affordable living spaces per square foot. The regional unit’s average price for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is $96,999 and the price per square foot is $99.25.
Drama ranks second. A two-bedroom, two-bathroom home would cost you $83,440. Additionally, you would spend $105.61 per square foot when buying a property in the area.
Achaia ranks in third place with a cost of $185.13 per square foot. The average property price of a two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is $521,500.
The area in fourth place is Thessaloniki. An average two-bedroom, two-bathroom house in the area is priced at $338,975. The cost per square foot is $215.94.
Thasos is in fifth place, with a price per square foot of $231.16. The average property price in Thasos for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is $176,892.80.
In sixth place is Kavala. The cost per square foot of a property is $232.42, while the average price overall is $177,161.
Chalkidiki ranks seventh. Sun-seekers looking to move to Chalkidiki will pay around $287.32 per square foot for a property, and the average price of a two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is $252,595.64.
In eighth place is Arcadia, with a price per square foot of $315.58. In ninth place is Ithaca with $349.63, followed by Andros in tenth with $385.25.
