Amadeus River Cruises has announced the addition of a new ship, Amadeus Amara, set to debut in July 2025 on the Danube, highlighting it as the most sustainable vessel in its fleet. Featuring lightweight construction and a shallow draft for navigating varying water levels, the ship also boasts reduced water resistance for lower fuel use, solar panels, and an advanced autopilot system for fuel efficiency.

The Amadeus Amara will host 164 guests over three decks, with amenities including 12 suites with balconies and cabins with panoramic windows, alongside a steering system that adapts to environmental conditions for optimal propulsion efficiency.
