Carnival Cruise Line is building a new cruise destination called Celebration Key on Grand Bahama Island. The island will have five distinct areas called portals, each with its own unique set of activities and amenities.

• The Welcome Portal is the first thing guests will see when they arrive. It will have a large sandcastle, live music, and information about the different portals.
• The Family-Friendly Portal will have a large freshwater lagoon, splash pad, racing waterslides, sports courts, and a variety of dining options.
• The Adult-Friendly Portal will have a freshwater lagoon, beach, swim-up bar, and a variety of dining options, including a full-service restaurant.
• The Private Club Portal is an adult-only area with an infinity pool, private beach access, and elevated dining experiences.
• The Retail Portal will showcase Bahamian culture with shopping for authentic Bahamian artisanal goods and local Bahamian retailers, along with Duty-Free stores. There will also be several food and beverage options serving Bahamian flavors.

Carnival ships will dock at an adjacent cruise pier that can accommodate up to two of the cruise line’s largest ships simultaneously and will allow guests direct access to the destination. Celebration Key will also include an events pavilion that is dedicated to hosting weddings, vow renewals and other special celebrations.
