New: Military Day On Every Carnival Cruise
Carnival Cruise Line is expanding its Military Appreciation Gathering into a full Military Appreciation Day on all sailings in North America. Starting from July 24, the cruise line will hold a special day on each ship, featuring special messaging on the Carnival Seaside Theater screen, announcements from the cruise director and captain, and a display of the United States Flag in the ship’s atrium on sailings of four days and more.
The cruise line aims to honor military heroes and their families by providing an incredible salute to service members. Carnival’s Military Appreciation Day includes several enhancements, such as supporting the nonprofit organization Operation Homefront through donations made via Sail & Sign cards and discounted group photos.
Carnival also plans to give away a free cruise to one military member and a guest each month. The cruise line further celebrates veterans with a Veterans Meet and Greet, Heroes American Pale Ale, and other special activities.
Carnival has been recognizing military service since 2016 and will continue to hold Military Appreciation Gatherings on every cruise, with a total of 1,510 military gatherings planned for 2023 on ships across the fleet (excluding Australia and European sailings).
