Viking Aton is a new Nile River cruise ship that will debut in August 2023. It is the second ship in Viking’s fleet of Nile River ships, following the Viking Osiris, which debuted in 2022. The Viking Aton will be an 82-guest ship, with 41 staterooms. It will be built to the same high standards as Viking’s other ships, with elegant Scandinavian design and spacious staterooms. The ship will also feature a number of amenities, including a pool, sun deck, and Aquavit Terrace.

The Viking Aton will sail Viking’s popular Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary, which includes a three-night stay in Cairo, a flight to Luxor, and an eight-day roundtrip cruise on the Nile River. During the cruise, guests will visit iconic sites such as the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Valley of the Kings, and the Temple of Karnak. They will also have the opportunity to experience Privileged Access to a number of sites, including the tomb of Nefertari in the Valley of the Queens and the tomb of Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings.

Viking Aton is currently under construction at the Massara shipyard in Cairo. It is expected to be delivered in August 2023.
