Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has resumed its weekly overnight calls to Kahului, Maui, on September 3, 2023. The cruise line had previously paused its calls to Maui in August due to devastating wildfires in Lāhainā on the island’s west side.

NCL’s decision to resume calls to Kahului was made with the guidance and encouragement of the Maui community, Hawai’i State Governor Josh Green, and the Hawai’i Tourism Authority.

Governor Green and the Hawai’i Tourism Authority are encouraging travelers to make a responsible return to Maui, visiting the many areas of the island that were not impacted by the wildfires.
