Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced the launch of four new, original entertainment productions set to debut across nine of its ships by September 2025. This initiative, driven by guest feedback, aims to enhance the onboard experience by offering more diverse and high-quality entertainment options. These shows, including “Red, White, & British,” “Bring Back the 90s,” “ICONS: The Bands,” and “Ignite the Night,” were developed at NCL’s Creative Studios in Tampa, Florida, and feature collaborations with renowned creative partners.

NCL’s new entertainment strategy focuses on providing guests with engaging narratives, recognizable music, and visually stunning performances. To fulfill its brand promise of offering more to see, do, and enjoy, the cruise line is expanding its entertainment offerings beyond the main theater. This includes more cast interactions, increased live music throughout the ship, and surprise “Mini Moments of More” pop-up performances in various locations. NCL is also emphasizing collaborations with notable directors, choreographers, and designers to ensure top-tier productions.

The new shows cover a wide range of musical genres and themes, from British rock and pop tributes to 90s nostalgia and immersive concert experiences. Notable collaborations include partnerships with “Burn the Floor,” director Jenn Rapp, choreographer Britt Stewart from “Dancing with the Stars,” and DJ duo The Hood Internet.

These productions will premiere on various NCL ships throughout 2025, offering guests a variety of entertainment options on different itineraries, including Caribbean, European, and Alaskan cruises.
- “Red, White, & British” features a “glam rock” section honoring David Bowie and Queen.
- “Bring Back the 90s” includes mashups by The Hood Internet, blending classic 90s hits.
- “ICONS: The Bands” features the cast of the popular “Choir of Man” show.
- “Ignite the Night” is choreographed by “Dancing with the Stars” professional dancer Britt Stewart.
- NCL is introducing “Mini Moments of More,” surprise entertainment pop-ups throughout their ships.
