Viking Details That Set Standards
When highlighting features and attractions on any given cruise line, little details often end up being the difference between a good cruise and a great one. That is indeed the case here, as we are seeing on @VikingCruises lovely #VikingSky. I’ll start this one now and add to it along the way.
Housekeeping knows and works around each guest’s schedule. There is absolutely no rush to vacate our stateroom in the morning.
Destination Menus. Focusing on the traditions and cultures we encounter while traveling includes many factors. Food & wine products focused on the destinations we visit are a very nice finish to every port of call.
Housekeeping pays attention. Like many others, Lisa travels with a CPAP machine to help with sleep. We were able to order the distilled water it needs pre-cruise from Viking at no charge. Once on the ship and they figured out which side of the bed she slept on, they installed a hook for to hang the CPAP hose from. No other cruise line has ever done that.
The newly updated Viking Voyager App is intuitive, apparently knows where we are on the ship. I like having the full boat daily schedule at my fingertips. That used to happen by carrying around the Viking Daily newsletter, usually folded up to fit in a pocket.
Book On Board Future Cruise Offers To Die For A $50 per person deposit, $100 per person onboard credit on your future cruise, and extended time to make the final payment on the current cruise.
A Place For Wrappers- I drink coffee with artificial sugar. Anyone who does and uses the little packets you see on dining room tables produces used packets and there is no place to put them. Viking adds an additional sugar bowl to the tabletops to address that issue.
