Wave Season, Round Two: The Pale Blue Of It
One solid month into the 2018 cruise buying ‘wave season’, that time of the year when many travelers choose and buy a cruise, and we’re off to a solid start. Still, following historic pricing trends, it’s time for Wave Season, Round Two. Leading off the charge in what history tells us is also a solid month of cruise sales, with a traditional ‘better deals than ever’ focus that is a bit blurry.
We start with Royal Caribbean.
The First Wow Sale Of 2018.
Royal Caribbean is back with what has traditionally been their absolute most popular promotion in title, a “Wow Sale”.
For a very limited time, travelers can pick up
- Reportedly good pricing. (30% off….what?)
- Bona fide good onboard credit. (Up to $200 for suites)
- No Reduced deposits. Nope. That was last year.
Here is the 2018 deal:
Booking Window: – February 7 – February 11, 2018
Sailing Window: All sailings departing on or after March 7, 2018. Offer excludes China departures.
Offer details: Up to $200 to spend at sea
Sailing Length | Inside/Ocean View | Balcony | Deluxe |
5N and less | $50 | $75 | $100 |
6N and more | $75 | $125 | $200 |
Ok so maybe this is not a tsunami of value but wave season it is nonetheless.
Maybe, this one is more of a paler blue than Royal on the color spectrum.
If the above does not produce, they might sweeten the deal. We’ve seen it before, we’ll see it again. Stay tuned.
