We went back to Mexico when stories of ill fate befalling tourists kept them away, proving it a safe place. We were on the first ship back to Haiti after devastating earthquakes rocked the island. We sailed on the Danube to show that was possible after low and high water had cancelled river cruises and had itineraries modified here and there. During a time when so many travelers avoided Egypt and the Middle East, we went there and met many wonderful people.

I’m looking forward to the time when we return to travel, whatever it might resolve as in the future. It’s a great big wonderful world out there and travel will be back. When it returns, we start the exciting cycle of showcasing amazing places all over again. How we’ll go about doing that may still be unknown but count on it to be wonderful and enriching.
