Yes.
I am attending the Seatrade Cruise convention in Fort Lauderdale and have a lot to report once back in the office. Still, right now, I have preliminary information on a number of topics. I’ll keep this brief. Basically, I wanted to feel good about these topics:
- Tone About & Respect For The COVID Virus
- Sustainability Efforts
- The Level Of Value Currently Being Offered
- Coming Soon: New Features On The Way
- Who’s Running The Show? Accountants Or Dreamers?
- Questions From Readers
- Do they even care about social media at all anymore?
- Current Cruise Line Engagement Efforts
Let’s run back through those topics with a quick look at what I experienced and what you might see on board now and in the near future.
- Tone About & Respect For The COVID Virus- Yes. The cruise lines are all in on protecting us from harm, still; a traditional core value of cruising if not more so.
- Sustainability Efforts- Oh dear Lord yes and way more than the elimination of single-use plastics on board.
- The Level Of Value Currently Being Offered: Better than ever, although I am working on a ranking system for this.
- Coming Soon: New Features On The Way- How big can you dream? Cruise lines are actively working on that. If possible, more than in the past.
- Who’s Running The Show? Accountants Or Dreamers? Was not actually one of my questions but the result of talking to another attendee so I’m stealing it.
- Questions From Readers. Yes, I have it all from construction updates to a good list of sources for more information.
- Current Cruise Line Engagement Efforts. We received information from one of the best social media experts on the planet to share.
Stay tuned for the latest from Seatrade Cruise Global plus my deepest dive yet on all things Holland America Line. This is going to be fun. You’ll see.
